"And it's just like in the movies." She muttered quietly to herself. "Where lovers are just lovers and kisses don't mean anything..."

What an interesting thought coming from such a virginal perspective. It's not like she knew or had any sort of experience. All she had was ideas swimming in her mind.

But she felt a certain way in the way she watched her move. An exciting feeling, foreign at best. What was it? Lust, love or something entirely different.

She silently watched the way she kissed all those other boys over the years. Some sort of undeniable jealousy that she couldn't describe. This was her best friend after all...and these feelings, oh these feelings overwhelmed and scared her.

For a moment she wished nothing but pain and malice on all who touched her, imagining what it felt like to have their hands on her waist. She wanted their hearts to feel as if they would burst. She already knew the end of this story before it began. She would never love her that way. She would never taste her skin.

She couldn't believe how bleak everything felt, like she had no future as she watched her friends skirt flowing back and forth as she walked. She turned back at the girl and with a wave she was off to her next class. She wondered how she assumed such a dark role. She felt small and frail like a twig that would break.

The girl kept her secret for now.
