ਕੀ ਆਈ ਰੁੱਤ ਯਾਰਾ ਵੇ?
ਖੋਹ ਲੈ ਗਈ ਰੰਗ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਵੇ।

ਇਕ ਪੱਥਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਮੋਤੀ ਤੇਰਾ,
ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਨੇਰਾ।
ਕੌਣ ਦੱਸੇ ਸੱਜਣਾ,
ਕੀ ਰੂਪ ਸੀ ਉਸਦਾ।

ਅੱਜ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਤੁਰ ਚਲਿਆ,
ਰਾਹਾਂ ਲੱਭਣ ਚਲਿਆ ਹੈ?
ਕੌਣ ਸਮਝਾਵੇ ਕਮਲਿਆ,
ਤੇਰਾ ਰੂਪ ਜੋ ਵਿਛੜ ਗਿਆ,
ਉਹ ਸਭ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਸੀ।

ਜਵਾਬ:
ਤੇਰੇ ਮੋਤੀ ਤੇ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ,
ਸੀ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਵਰਦਾਨ।

ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰੀਂ ਦਿਲ ਦੁਖਿਐ,
ਨਾ ਸੀ ਇਰਾਦਾ ਸੱਚੀਂ ਜਾਣ।

ਰੁੱਤ ਸਦਕਾ ਮੁੱਕਿਆਂ,
ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਘੁੱਟਿਆਂ।

ਭੁੱਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਹ ਰੂਪ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ,
ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੁੜਨੋਂ ਘਬਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਆਪਣੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ,
ਨਵੀਆਂ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਜ਼ਰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮੌਸਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ,
ਨਾ ਮੁੜ ਵੜਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਮਲ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਨਾ ਵੇਖ ਸਕਦਾ,
ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਸੱਚ ਜਾਣੀ ...
